At Acre Wood, we believe childhood should feel unhurried, magical, and filled with joy. Through outdoor adventures, meaningful relationships, open-ended learning, and strong community connections, we create a space where children feel safe, secure, and loved ~ truly a second home! 

 

We value muddy boots, endless questions, fresh air, kindness, and the kind of childhood that we hope is remembered for its warmth and wonder. Our days are intentionally unhurried, allowing children the time and space to explore, create, connect, and simply just be.

 

We spend our mornings immersed in the beautiful outdoor spaces Sidney has to offer, embracing nature in every season. We also believe children thrive when they feel connected to the world around them, which is why community is woven into our program through meaningful field trips and experiences, such as our weekly visits to the local seniors’ homes.

 

At Acre Wood, we thoughtfully create invitations to play and learning experiences that spark curiosity without pressure or expectation. We follow the child’s lead, focusing on the magic found in everyday moments and allowing plenty of room for imagination, connection, and joy! 

 

We feel incredibly privileged to play such an important role in the early years of childhood, and we take so much pride in creating the warm & joy filled space that Acre Wood has become!
